In the restaurant industry, a customer found hair in their food. I remained calm, apologized sincerely, and comped their meal. I asked if there was anything else I could do and gave them a coupon for their next meal. This reinforced the importance of attentive listening and swift, empathetic action in resolving customer concerns.

I understand the importantace of empathy and patience. While working in retail I had an older customer that needed assistance finding an outfit for her birthday. It took 2 hours to find the perfect outfit that put a smile on her face. I then helped her setup her ApplePay since it was her first time using it.
